Reference geometry

Learn/Editor/Reference geometry

Create a custom footprint with Sweep

Draw a closed outline and give it a height.

Draw the outline

Choose Create > Sweep.
Set Height in the right panel.
Click successive points around the footprint. Add at least three vertices.
Click the first point again or press Enter to close the outline and create the solid.

Note

Press Esc to discard an unfinished outline. A sweep needs at least three vertices.

Use the reference

Select the sweep to change its height or use Build Wrap Scaffold to build around its footprint.
