Place components from the catalog
Assign a catalog component to a quick-access slot and place it manually.
Choose and place a component
- Switch Workflow to Manual.
- Choose a slot in the quick-access bar using 1–9 or 0 for the tenth slot.
- Open the catalog and search for a component. Select an item to assign it to the active slot.
- Move the pointer over the scaffold and inspect the placement preview.
- Click to place the component at an available connection.
Number keys activate slots in Manual; in Automatic they select views. The current catalog determines available components.
If there is no scaffold, the connection is occupied, or no placeable definition exists, the status message explains why placement is unavailable. A rejected placement can keep its preview for another attempt.
