Reference geometry

Learn/Editor/Reference geometry

Split a cylinder into equal parts

Create equal cylinder sections from an existing reference.

Split the reference

Select the cylinder and open Insert settings.
Choose Split cylinder.
Set Parts to the number of equal sections you want.
Confirm the split and inspect the resulting parts.

Note

The split action is offered only for an eligible cylinder.
