Build a scaffold footprint
Lay out one or more bays with two clicks.
Place the scaffold
- Choose Build > Scaffold or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + B.
- Set the Scaffold system, Preferred width, and Preferred depth.
- Choose whether to include Bracing, Guardrails, and Toeboards.
- Click to set the anchor. Move the pointer to size the footprint and inspect its dimensions.
- Click again to build the scaffold.
Understand the footprint
The footprint resolves to catalog bay sizes. It needs at least one valid bay in each direction. Top view when tool opens makes plan placement easier.
The editor checks the ground and foundation adjustment before accepting placement. If the ground exceeds the available adjustment, the footprint is retained so you can change it or cancel.
