Control snapping and the grid
Choose which objects and construction lines attract your pointer.
Set snap targets
- Open Snapping in the bottom toolbar.
- Turn on Enable snapping.
- Enable the targets you want to use.
| Target | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Grid | Regular movement increments. |
| Inserts | Alignment to reference inserts. |
| Guidelines | Alignment to construction guide lines. |
| Scaffolds | Alignment to scaffold edges. |
| Bays | Alignment to bay lines. |
Show the grid and dimensions
Press G to show or hide the grid. Grid visibility and snapping are separate controls.
Press R to show or hide reference edge lengths. For Create, set Grid step in the right panel. Measure has its own node, member, and deck-edge snap preferences.
