Import a model

1. Choose Import > 3D object (OBJ / IFC) in the right panel header.
2. Choose an OBJ or IFC file.
3. Set Object name. For OBJ, also choose the Source up axis and OBJ units.
4. Choose Import OBJ or Import IFC and wait for the object to appear.

What is imported

Objects are centered at the project origin and placed on the ground. OBJ meshes are simplified; referenced MTL materials are not applied.

IFC import accepts IFC 4.3 ADD2. Units and element placements come from the file. BIM properties and materials are not imported. IFC limits are 25 MB, 100,000 vertices, and 200,000 triangles.
