Choose a selection mode

1. Open Select in the top toolbar.
2. Choose a mode, then click the part of the model you want to work with.
3. Check the highlight and the selection inspector before editing.

Extend a selection

Select with a box

1. Click empty space to set the first corner.
2. Move the pointer to frame the objects.
3. Click the second corner to finish. Press Esc to cancel.

In Normal mode, hold Shift for the second click to add the box contents. A box in Lift, Bay, or Scaffold mode replaces the selection. An empty box clears the selection, except when adding with Shift in Normal mode.

Select related items

With a lift, bay, or scaffold selected, open Select related scaffold items or components beside the right panel. Choose a related scope, All components, or a component category.

Scoped hover controls the preview of the scope under the pointer. Changing to Normal or Lift mode clears the previous selection; Bay and Scaffold modes can expand an existing selection when possible.
