Reference geometry

Subtract one reference from another

Use reference shapes as cutters to remove overlapping volume.

Apply a subtraction

In Normal selection mode, select the reference you want to cut first.
Hold Shift and select the reference shapes to use as cutters.
Choose Subtract … from First in the right panel.
Inspect the resulting reference.

Note

Selection order matters: the first selected reference is the object being cut. If the action is unavailable or rejected, review the selection and Logs.
