Resize bays, lifts, and scaffolds
Change dimensions or add and remove bays and lifts with Modify.
Change the size
- Select one editable scaffold scope or resizable element.
- Choose Modify.
- Drag an available arrow and inspect the preview.
- Release to apply, or press Esc to cancel. For an exact vertical value, use Height in the right panel.

| Bay or scaffold plan arrow | Resize the bay or existing edge bay using catalog spans. |
| Command + bay or scaffold plan arrow | Add bays outward or remove them inward. |
| Scaffold top arrow | Add or remove lifts in provider intervals. Command changes the existing top interval instead. |
| Lift top arrow | Adjust the lift extension. Command enables a lift topology change. |
| Lift exterior plan arrow | Add or resize a console extension. |
| Reference arrow | Resize that reference face; Command moves it along the axis. |
Work within the available sizes
The Provider step shows the allowed height increment. Catalog and ground constraints determine which changes can be accepted.
Top view cannot provide a usable vertical drag. Switch to Front, Right, or 3D before changing height with a handle.
