Place a guideline

1. Choose Create > Guideline.
2. Choose Horizontal or Vertical under Orientation.
3. Point at the ground or a supported reference face and check the preview.
4. Click to place the line.

A stationary right-click switches direction before placement. On the ground, Horizontal follows plan X and Vertical follows plan Z.

Edit a guideline

Select the line to edit its Name, Orientation, Plan axis when available, X, Elevation, Z, and Length. The Owner identifies an attached reference.

Use Advanced > Viewport > Guidelines for visibility, color, and thickness. Enable Snapping > Guidelines to use guide lines as snap targets.

Build from ground guidelines

1. Select the ground guidelines that define your layout.
2. In the right panel, choose Build from … Guidelines when available.
3. Review the generated scaffold.
